About Tanglewood Manor
Tanglewood Manor, an adult care facility, was licensed by the New York State Department of Health and opened its doors in 1984 under the leadership of Louis Ferreri. At its inception, the original building had room for one hundred residents. After several addtions and renovations, the current maximum capacity is 158.
In the late 1980's, Mr. Ferreri was joined in the business by his son, Nicholas. After the elder Mr. Ferreri was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease and since his subsequent death, Nicholas Ferreri has continued to operate Tanglewood Manor as a place where seniors can age with grace and dignity.
The building offers a beautiful environment indoors, stylish, yet comfortable. During the last several years, much of the facility has been redecorated with new furniture in many areas. Recent improvements to the surrounding grounds include a 3.5 acre private park with three ponds, paved walking paths and conveniently located benches for rest or meditation.
For over twenty years, Tanglewood Manor has continued the traditional values inspired by Louis Ferreri: respect for one another, concern for each resident's well-being, encouragement of individual interests and enjoyment of life's pleasures. These values are a gift Tanglewood staff members share every day with residents and each other.
